We interrupt this bloggy break with a Word about Mr. Chewy!!

Hi furiends!
Our mama is breaking the blogging break were on to SHARE TREATS with US'UNS and a REVIEW with YOU.

Wesa knows...wesa been gone a long times and wesa not even sharing treats with y'alls...but wesa are on a budget with both treats and times...so hopefully, you'll understand and just take our advice to go buy these treats.

Mama Mindy: Um...my pug loves?

Slimmer Puggums:  What mama? (in unison)

Mama Mindy: You might want to share information about the treats and why you like them so that your friends get a good picture as to why they should go buy them.

Mimi:  Why don't you show them our pictures?  That should be enough...

Mama Mindy: True.  Your puggy punnums are quite endearing and all of your friends know how picky y'all are with treats.  But...I think I should first share a little bit about the company and the treats nutritional information for the pet parents first, then I will show your delightful taste-testing pictures.

Okay...so you pet parents ALL KNOW Mr. Chewy ROCKS!! I mean, seriously they ship quickly and they give us bloggers in the U.S. a chance to try some of the products they sell just for our honest feedback and yes, we at the Slimmer Pugs and Purrs household are quite finicky in our choice of snacks.  I, the mama, want to provide my pugs and purrs with good nutritional treats that are low-calorie and small for the compact-sized pug and kitty mouths.  My puggums only care about the taste.  The kitties like most things; however, I base their opinion on whether they puke out the treats or not.  That said, let's begin April's taste test.

So...this month the Slimmer Pug pack was given the opportunity to select a treat for April, and this is what the puggums chose:  Nature's Variety Instinct Rawboost Mini's Duck Formula--a freeze-dried, raw treat that hopefully as the package says..."your dog will love."  Okay...so first off, the pugs are not dogs, they are children...but I will let that one slide. :)

Here is some additional information from Nature's Variety about their products:

These incredible results continue to fuel our passion for pets, and inspire us to be leaders in pet health and nutrition.

What I, Mama Mindy, like about the treats?
#1:  Nice size for the small dog and also a great size for training for a medium-to-large sized dog.  Yes, Goose, that means you can put these in one of your puzzles and probably eat quite a few of them without getting upset digestives. :)
#2:  The Nature's Variety rawboost mini's come in a resealable package to lock in the flavor.
#3:  The smell is not over pungent, like most freeze dried items smell.  You know what I mean if you have ever bought dried liver treats...they make your want to gag!!
#4:  The smell is easy to clean off your fingers.  As you pet parents know, some treats you could practically scour your hands and still have the smell lingering of what you just fed your pet.
#5:  My picky puggies LOVE the treats!!

What the puggums like about the treats?
Wesa like'ums these treats because da' mama will allows us'uns to have more than one each a day (low-calorie) and wesa picky about the taste quality of our treat'ums and these tasted wonderfuls.

Picture Proof (sorry...the pictures that showed them eating them were blurry...and the one's that turned out after the feeding are what follows...I will provide optimum captions to what the pugs were thinking at the time of the photo):

George:  Oh...this is new and tasty, too!

Toby:  Cute face equals another snacky, mama!!

Lily:  I ams not amused with that camera. Give me another snacky, NOW!!

Mimi:  Whad'ya mean yousa not giving me another snacky?

To answer all of the inquiring minds question, Yes, they DID get another rawboost mini.

Today, we still have over 3/4 of the bag and its only been about a week.  Maybe I am a bit stingy with treats, but I seems to give them at least one a day and with 3/4 of the bag intact, this is a very affordable treat to buy for your kiddo.

Thank you Mr. Chewy for allowing us to review Nature's Variety Instinct rawboost mini's duck flavor dog treats.

Much Love & Luvums,
Mama Mindy &
