This week I still have a slight cold...but I feel much better and am sleeping through the night...AND just in time, too.
Advanced Instructional Technology (3 hours). Project 15--Final project was due. Shared our favorite project with the class. I chose Project 15 which was the Powtoon Storytelling I did about Mimi and shared with y'all on Monday. Have the same instructor for Science next semester (which is what his degree is actually in). Hope it is a good class!
Math for Elementary Ed & Middle School Teachers I (3 hours). Took Final. Not much else to say. Have the same instructor next semester. I'll miss her...but not the homework over break. :)
Field & Lab Biology (3 hours). Took the Final. Teacher gave us all goodie bags, which was real sweet. Going to miss her...but hopefully, will see her off and on and maybe she can bring Biology lessons into my classroom once I have a classroom. :) All of the students in my class and the instructor and local elementary teacher mentor went to Freddy's Frozen Custard and chatted and shared a meal together. It was lovely.
End of semester 1 of my Junior Year of the BEST Cohort. Next semester begins Block I...classes which are for those that have "declared" elementary education as their major and have met previous requirements. We have to be submitted into each Block. Block 1 involved paperwork and proof of passing grades and exams. Block 2 will involve getting letters of recommendation and a interview for placement into a school to be paired with a mentor during the student teaching semesters.
Much Love,
A tired, but Happy
Mama Mindy
PS: As soon as all my grades are in, I will share them with you in a post. :)

We are so proud of you! Since dad is in school, too, we know how hard it is to keep up your grades, do soul-filling projects, do the regular work thing to pay the bills, AND still have time for the Puggums and kitties! You are awesome...and deserve the school break! We are certain that there a bunches of kids that are going to be SO lucky to have you as their teacher!
YAY ... we are proud of you!
Enjoy your break ... spend some time with the furbabies!
