Reality Award--Thanks Urban Hounds!!

http://themisadventuresofmisaki.files.wordpress.com/2013/01/reality-blog-award.jpg

Our friends at Urban Hounds gave us this cool reward. We love their bloggy because they do a lot of cooking for hu-peeps and kiddos and find us puggers fantastic products (they were the one's that made us fans of Pug Snugglies).  If you have never read them, you really should and they are on our side bar.

The rules and instruction for this award are as follows . . .

1) Visit and thank the blogger who nominated you.

2) Acknowledge that blogger on your blog and link back to them.

3) Answer the 5 simple questions. (see below)

4) Nominate up to 20 blogs for the award and notify each of them. (see below)

5) Display the award on your blog somewhere.

1) If you could change one thing, what would you change?

Mama Mindy--I would not have anxiety or depression and be easily affected by other's moods.  :(

Pugs-We'd like unlimited access to our food bowls and eat people food everyday:)
(Mom's note:  If they did as they liked, then it would be a diahrea attack everyday on the carpet.  This weekend we had an incident with sharing turkey gravy and I feel terrible about it and so did their tummies). :(
Purrs--Have more windows in the house and be able to go outside whenever we wanted.  Unlimited food bowl access for a few of us'uns would be nice. :)

2) If you could repeat an age, what would it be? any year?

Mama Mindy--I think I have not reached an age I am satisfied with...although I loved being in elementary school...probably why I'm going to become a teacher for elementary-aged kiddos. :)  Yep...although I loved elementary school, maybe I'll be happy when I have "lived" life a bit more.
George, Gracie, & Toby--Age 3 is when we were lean, mean, puggy machines.
Lily--I like my current age...although tomorrow I turn 4...so maybe I would have to say that staying 3 would be awesome.
Mimi--I just turned 3 in December.  So far, so good...
Purrs:  Wesa all like our current ages right now...although Socks would wish some of us never being born.  MOL!  Just kiddin'...or was she?
3) What is one thing that really scares you?
Mama Mindy--I'm really scared about my mother's future death.  Her parents and her grandparents all died early before 66...except for her father who lived in agony until 78.  Heart disease and strokes run in her side of the family...and as I am bonded the closest with her, it will be real rough on me when the time comes (morbid thinking...I know).
Pugs--That our mama's will never come home.
(Mama Note:  Toby Moses gets all upity if we are even gone for a minute to cross the street to our mailbox.  He gets all "boss mans" and puts his face and pushes our calves in and almost knocks us over as he makes his verbal unhappiness known).
Purrs--Empty food bowls...AND overflowing kitty boxes!!
(Mama Note:  Jack is on a diet and is afraid that we will forget to feed him his once a day meal.  The cats all hate a dirty litter box...it is not me who forgets.  Dad is responsible for two kitties, and me and my mother are constantly on his case to clean the litter boxes upstairs that belong to his charges).
4)What is one dream you have not completed, and do you think you'll be able to complete it?
Mama Mindy:  I dream of having a soul-mate for life...a male companion to share my twilight years with...and I think it will be completed if God so wishes it to occur.  I can't help my hermit tendencies...I'm kind of like a Hobbit...I like being at home near my food box. LOL!!
Another dream I have is getting my second bachelor's degree in elementary education (should have been my one and only degree if you ask me) and it is slowly coming to fruition. :)
Pugs:  Wesa would love to meet our bloggy furiends...but we kinda live in "fly over" country in Kansas.  Very few blogging furiends would want to come visit us'uns.
Purrs:  Wesa would love to have an outside habitat.  Mama says this will only happen if she win's big...either Publisher's Clearing House will have to knock on our door (hopefully this February!!) or win the lottery (and no measley, peasley lottery either...a biggun').
5)If you could be somone else for one day, who would it be?
Mama Mindy:  I would want to be a famous chef like Mario Batali.  Make whatever Italian dishes I want.  Be chunky and Be merry and very few people would care about my weight because a fat chef is a good chef. :)
Pugs:  Wesa like our life...but living with our furiends Archie (anytime) or Kiki, Marty, Rosie, Zoey, Stewie, & Chloe (especially during camping season) would be lovely.  Outdoors a lot and around our peeps a lot.  What more could a pug ask for?
Purrs:  Wesa wonder how the Egyptian cats enjoyed life?  Wesa don't know "who" we would want to be, but would like to be the cats that were "spoiled rotten" as all cats should be. :)

I would like to pass this award to ten deserving blogs:
1.  Two French Bulldogs (Benny & Lily do so many fun things...and are quite humourous...and fashionables, too)
2. We Three Doxies (Puddles...need I say more...the girl is a hoot!!)
3.  Celestial Kitties (Star & Leo are so funny with their antics..."the barbarian")
4. Random Felines (Jeanne keeps us up-to-date on all fosters and her own crew)
5. Sarge Speaks Out (Sarge is hosting "Sled Day"...how pawsome is that?!?)
6. Jazzi's World (The mystery of the "cream cheese lid"...keeps us pawing for more)
7. Mona, Weenie, & the Mommy (The "funny" days are our pawsonal favorites!!)
8. Dachsund NOLA (she hosts black & white Sunday...her pictures are pawsome!!)
9. Pip Gets Back in the Game (the "Bucket List" tour has begun!! Hesa our favorite cheeseburger devourer!!)
10. Stella and Rory from Down Under (These Aussies sure know how to have summer fun!!)
Wesa hope you enjoyed our answers to the questions!!
Much Luvums,
Mama Mindy & The Slimmer Pugs & Purrs

Congratulations on your awards puglets! We just dropped by to say hi.

Mama Mindy... I too am scared of my mom's future death. I am not sure why... perhaps because I may not be able to afford taking care of her medical bills as much as I would want or maybe because my grandpa died in so much pain and nobody had enough money to spend on him and he cried so much. :(

Huggies and Cheese,
